Barista / Front of House Team Member

About Us:

Rooted Table is an elevated quick-casual restaurant dedicated to nourishing our community with fresh, plant-based food, juices, and specialty coffee. We believe that when people eat well and feel good, they can truly thrive. Our goal is to create a welcoming space where both our guests and team members can flourish.

Position Details:

Hours: 20+ hours per week (Weekdays + Saturdays)
- Must be available to open at 7:45 a.m. on most weekdays with possibility of opening earlier in the future.
Wage: $15/hour + tips (Average total pay: $17–$19/hour)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, smoothies, and juices.
Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable customer service.
Operate the POS system and handle transactions efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house and beverage station.
Assist with stocking and general prep as needed.
Support the back-of-house team by assisting with restocking, running items, or other tasks as needed to ensure smooth service.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.

Previous experience in a coffee shop, restaurant, or similar environment
