Position Details:
Hours: 30–40 hours per week (Weekdays + Saturdays)
Schedule: Daytime hours (close at 4 p.m.)
Wage: Based Upon experience
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Café Manager in all aspects of daily operations
Serve as shift leader, ensuring smooth service and positive team energy
Act as a bridge between front-of-house and back-of-house teams
Assist with training, scheduling, and maintaining consistency in service and quality
Help with inventory, ordering, and operational checklists
Model Rooted Table’s values through communication, teamwork, and guest care
Step into leadership during manager absences and contribute to ongoing process improvements
What We’re Looking For:
Previous leadership or shift management experience in food service
Friendly, calm, and organized under pressure
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit
Interest in learning management, systems, and team development
Reliable and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and service
